Kavita did her Masters in Science and has been into teaching for the last two decades. She was nominated for Best Lecturer Award in 2006 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. She holds a Certificate of Appreciation from Educational Assessment, UNSW Global, Australia for her role as a Coordinator handling International Assessments for Indian Schools.
Kavita foresees her future as a dedicated and expert career counsellor. She is a Green Belt Global Career certified counsellor from Univariety and UCLA extension, California, USA and also from TCSiON that would immensely make her competent for the future role she aspires to take up. During her years as an educator, Kavita updated herself about the career trends and skills needed in today’s workspace.
Having had a firsthand interaction with students for nearly two decades, Kavita is fully aware of the challenges clinets face while selecting a career . She had also seen the negative effects of choosing the wrong career . She firmly believes that if client receive the right support and guidance at an early stage, they can do away the mistakes that may cost them their future. This is what motivated her to become a career counsellor and dedicate her time for helping students make the right career choices.
Kavita has been constantly striving to help students to build their confidence levels and skill sets needed in the world outside their school or college campuses. Kavita often observed that clients lack clarity over their careers and the paths they need to take to achieve their goals; this happens owing to no serious efforts by the institutions they were part of. Often, they need someone to ‘show them’ the right path without any pre conceived notions or judgements
Kavita earnestly feels that it is her responsibility as a certified career counsellor, is to help students discover their own inherent talents.
